Education Programs

On-site programs

• Tours of trout and Atlantic salmon hatchery & how a flow-through hatchery works.
• Nature Center: aquaculture displays, reptile and amphibian displays, ecosystem displays.

Nature Trails

The Hatchery site offers 7.5 miles of nature trails through wildlife and wetlands habitats. Signage identifies species of flora and fauna. Visitors are welcome to take self-guided tours. The hilly, wooded terrain is accessible for snow-shoeing and cross-country skiing.

Outreach Programs

• Working with local camps, scouts and 4-H groups.
• Fish education and Aquatic WILD programs for local schools.
• Stocking local waters.
• Fishing Derbies at Lower Pond held May - September.

Internships

The Foundation has had and is always looking for interns to come to the Hatchery to gain experience, education and training.
