The weather was overcast, but the rain held off and the fishing was good. Many delighted youngsters showed off their large trout. It was a close run competition with only 1/2" separating the top three catches. Alexandra Green was in 1st place with a 16 1/2" fish, in 2nd place was Rachel Thomson,  at 16 1/4",  Tiffany Moro claimed 3rd place with 16" and in 4th place with 14 1/2" was John Field.

The hatchery staff and volunteers had a great time introducing a new generation to the pleasures of fish and fishing. Come join us at the next Fishing Derby.
